What does cultural heritage mean?
For a briefing on the international definition of Cultural heritage you can read more on “Cultural heritage in EU policies” by the European Parliament. In short this is the definition by Unesco: “the legacy of physical artefacts and intangible attributes of a group or society that are inherited from past generations, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations”.
VERITAGE comes from this idea.
